Hi and Welcome to my happy place.

I'm Ela Bajarca, a mixed media artist based in Auckland - New Zealand.

I love nature and I incorporate my love of nature into my unique paintings. I like using a variety of mediums; I love textures, bold colours and bringing natural elements to my artworks.

In my early days I used to paint landscapes and seascapes (realism and abstract), later I discovered mixed media and I love creating abstract art which brings texture, more colour and excitement!

I am absolutely in my happy place when painting. There is no notion of time and space for me when painting; everything slows down, and everything can stop for me when immersing into painting. It is said that painting is therapy. 

Yes, painting can be therapeutic!

I will add that painting is food for soul; painting is like being on a holiday retreat for yourself and your mind.

Hope my art and other creations will bring instant happiness and relaxation to its viewers.

• I hold a degree in Social Work and Psychology
• I am a certified NLP Practitioner, Mindfulness Teacher and Life Coach
• My day job is in Real Estate Sales
